Management & General Overview:
- Create plans for maintaining public relations, marketing, social media, and membership retention and growth plans.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise clubhouse staff.
- Maintain financial records ensuring that revenue and reports are reconciled at end of each day and end of month.
- Able to work flexible hours to meet the varying demands of the position.
- Create and maintain food and beverage plans.
- Schedule functions and tournaments.
- Adhere to all Keno/Skill game rules & regulations. And implement safeguards and controls.

Schedule: 15–20 hours/week from March 15 – May 15
Additional hours available from May 16 – November 15
Position Summary
Lakeside Golf Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Bartender to join our team for the upcoming golf season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment and is comfortable taking on a variety of tasks beyond bartending—including light cooking, customer service, running beverage carts, and supporting daily club operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bartender at Lakeside Golf Club, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests while helping maintain a clean, welcoming clubhouse environment. Duties include:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Provide outstanding customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guests have a great experience
- Operate beverage carts and serve customers on the golf course as needed
- Assist with light cooking and food preparation, including simple menu items and snacks
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining space, and equipment
- Handle payments and point-of-sale transactions accurately and responsibly
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and communicate needs to management
- Support general clubhouse operations as assigned
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with experience or familiarity in the following areas:
- Bartending (experience preferred; training available for the right person)
- Basic cooking and food prep
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills
- Comfortable operating or learning to operate golf carts and beverage carts
- Knowledge of golf culture and course etiquette is a plus
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight (e.g., beverage cases, ice, supplies)
